We left Benin for Togo on the same day at about 6 pm; we didn’t know where we were going, nor a contact person or volunteer to help. Midway some team members were telling Vivian to leave out Togo; she refused that she would instead pour the gifts on the street of Togo rather than pass Togo without reaching out to the children; we tried looking online for an orphanage or a clue as to where to go. Still, no one had data to check on Google.
Mrs.Vivian asked us to pray, and right after the prayers, a miracle happened. She said God would bring the children for Togo once He was ready. And almost immediately, the driver, who was already outside to make inquiries, met a man. By this time, it was already getting dark; the driver said something and told him to stop at a signpost across from the vehicle, which he did; we believe that something was the Holyspirit using the driver. Immediately he stopped and got down.
He saw a man on a motorbike and a woman packing her things to join him; apparently, they were husband and wife. On asking him, we discovered he was a missionary turned pastor whom God instructed to establish a church two months prior; the pastor mentioned he could quickly organize children for us if we followed him. We followed behind him to a thatched building in a small community, the floors were unpaved and dusty, but almost immediately, the children started showing up.
We knew that was God. So many children showed up in Togo. He called us the next day, saying that the service on Sunday was so different that people were falling under the anointing, and the visitation was divine for him; the visit was short but very divine. It reawakened our faith in God and His ability to supply, even the human resources, to fulfill His purpose.
Wow! What a profound miracle. God is so good!
